ABBY NOTWE

Abby started tattooing in 2022. While her earliest work focused on fineline black & grey, her work has since evolved to include American Traditional, folk blackwork, Japanese Traditional, and more. She is also interested in Micronesian tattoo revival and is currently working with other Micronesian artists to explore this ancestral inheritance. Abby has an adaptable eye and is keen to explore all styles. Memorial pieces and tattoos that borrow from a non-tattoo visual language with personal significance (e.g. pattern from a late parent’s favorite shirt, imagery from grandparent’s weaving) hold a special place in her heart. Above all, her priority is creating a safe, comfortable, and joyful environment for people from all walks of life to receive art they can love for a lifetime. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors.
